I grew up in McKinney and graduated at the top of the class of 1975 from McKinney High School. In 1980, I graduated Summa cum Laude from Baylor University, receiving a bachelor´s degree in business administration with a major in accounting.

My professional career began at Price Waterhouse, and I received my Certified Public Accounting certificate in July 1982. I worked for a local accounting firm in Addison for over a year, then returned to my hometown in December 1986 to start my own firm.

My wife of 27 years, Ronda, and three daughters (ages 21, 18 and 18) are indeed the joy of my life! As a family, we are very actively involved at First Baptist Church, the Lucas Christian Academy and various community organizations.

My hobbies include golf, reading, and most spectator sports. Music continues to play an important part in my life as I participate in church choir and have traveled on various musical mission trips overseas.
